Reading response

Once at Mahia with dad, mum, me (of course), my dad’s friend Darrell, his son Liam and his sister Anna, Liam and I  went far out from the shore. Then Liam said ‘’Ouch!‘’ so I said ‘’Let’s go back.”
“Okay” said Liam.
THEN we started fishing. Around 5 minutes later a MASSIVE jellyfish appeared out of the blue! Me and Liam jumped back.  Mum, Dad and Darrell told us all to get out of the water.  Mum was moving pretty quickly!
Darrell used a boogie board to scoop up the jellyfish – its body covered the whole board and was a yellow-orange colour.

The Water Cycle

Dinosaur pee?  You could be drinking it!

Water goes around in a cycle called the water cycle. This is how it goes...

Evaporation starts it off.  Evaporation is when water rises off the ground or out of storage, like the ocean, and turns into a cloud (condensation).

Condensation is when water sticks together in a cloud and gets heavier.  The it starts to rain down.

Precipitation is when it rains and when it rains that water gets stored.

Storage is when rain water (or dinosaur pee) gets stored in a lake or ocean or comes to our water tanks.

So that's why you could be drinking dinosaur pee!
